She was born and raised in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. She earned degrees in Biology and Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She worked briefly in corporate healthcare/IT related jobs before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She completed Internal Medicine residency at Dell Medical School at UT Austin. After residency, she worked in both the hospital and clinic settings in perioperative medicine, ensuring her clinic patients were optimized for elective surgeries and overseeing medical management of those patients as a hospitalist. She started her own DPC private practice in 2022. She also works as a physician collaborator with NuroCoach, an integrative mental health company. She maintains hospital privileges and rounds regularly at both Seton and St. David’s hospital systems. She is a volunteer consulting doctor for the APRN (Abortion Pill Reversal Network). Dr. Marino is a Christian with a Biblical worldview - her belief in Christ influences every facet of life, from day-to-day living to business and medicine.
